LEWISBURG, Pa. – The doubles team of Darrel Harxhi and Jorge Sedeno won the Bucknell Invitational "A" Doubles Championship in the season-opening competition for the men's tennis program.

Invitational Summary
Singles

• Jorge Sedeno advanced to the A championship final where he fell to Bucknell's Cooper Bradshaw, 6-2, 6-3. Sedeno picked up wins over Howard's Kyle Martin (6-0, 6-3), and Bucknell's Chunyu Chen (6-4, 6-4).
• Darrel Harxhi finished in seventh place in the A bracket.
• Manuel Alonso Mendivil finished in fifth place in the B bracket.
• In the C championship bracket, Pere Padro Parra advanced to the final with wins over Howard's Lorenz Lowe, 2-6, 6-2, 11-9, and Saint Francis' Andrew Teixeira, 6-4, 6-1. His opponent retired in the final.
• Bruno Goncalves placed fifth in the C bracket.  

 
Doubles

• Darrel Harxhi and Jorge Sedeno Nieto won all three of their matches to claim the A championship.
• The duo won its first match, 6-2, over Howard's Martin and Mayers. The pair knocked off Bucknell's Chen and Torres, 6-2, in the semifinals before defeating another tandem from Bucknell (Jurist and Bradshaw), 6-4.
• Bruno Goncalves and Pere Padro Parra finished in third place in the B championship bracket. The pair defeated Howard's Blackburn and Williams, 6-3.
