The Purple Eagles will play their first home match of the spring season on Saturday against the Quinnipiac Bobcats to open MAAC play.

• Niagara's No. 3 team of Pere Padro and Josh Wilson edged a 7-5 victory. However, the Bobcats won in two and one doubles to take the point.
• In singles play, Niagara won one of the six matches while falling in three sets in two matches.
• Josh Wilson won in straight sets over Kyle Alper, 6-3, 7-6, in two singles as NU trailed 2-1.
• Taylan Ozdemir (No. 1) and Brent Boleslav (No. 3) both fell in three sets.
