  • NU dropped two road matches against Detroit and Michigan State last weekend.
  • Taylan Ozdemir leads NU in singles wins with nine.
  • Niagara has used 21 different doubles pairing this season.
  • The Purple Eagles will play Fordham in Olean, New York on Sunday.
 
Across The Net – Youngstown State Penguins
  • YSU is 1-5 on the season.
  • Two Penguins are in double-digit wins in singles – Matthew Kritzinger (13-7) and Danylo Veremeichuk (12-5).
  • YSU's no. 1 Joao Garretto and no. 2 Vasileios Vardakis are both 3-3 in dual singles matches.
  • In doubles, the Penguins are 25-26 with Veremeichuk accounting for nine wins.
 
First Serve (Women)
  • Niagara won the doubles points for the first time this season before falling to Detroit, 6-1, on February 10.
  • Stella Peisakhova and Andreea Peteu improved to 2-0 in doubles on the season, while Ali Hutchinson and Chhinda Som won their first match as a double pair in four attempts.
  • Stella Peisakhova and Andreea Peteu each have seven singles wins to share team-high honors.

  • The Penguins earned their firs twin of the season with a 4-3 win over UC Riverside on February 11.
  • YSU's no. 1 in single, Noelly Longi Nsimba, is 10-11 overall and 3-4 in one singles.
  • Imaan Hassim and Sofia Macias is a team-best 10-6 in doubles.
