WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. – Playing in its first home match in three weeks, the men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to St. Bonaventure on Sunday.
 
Match Summary

• The Purple Eagles were nipped in two out of the three doubles matches.
• The No. 3 team of Brent Boleslav and Taylan Ozemir defeated SBU's John Rutkowski and Guillermo Garcia, 6-4, to give NU a 1-0 advantage.
• The No. 2 team of Lukas Wenninger and Josh Wilson was edged 7-6 (6).
• The No. 1 team of Felipe Fuentes and Francis Nadeau battled back to force a tie-breaker, but fell 7-6(2).
• The Bonnies won in No. 1, 2, and 3 singles to clinch the match.
• Boleslav won in straight sets for Niagara's lone victory.
