Poughkeepsie, N.Y. – The Niagara Purple Eagles started their final MAAC weekend with a 4-0 defeat at Marist on Saturday.
 
The Purple Eagles (4-11, 2-4 MAAC) were unable to snap its losing streak to the Red Foxes as the host won the doubles points after taking all three doubles matches before winning in two, three, and one singles to clinch the match.  
 
Niagara will have a quick turnaround as it hosts Saint Peter's on Sunday for its senior day.
