The Niagara University men's and women's tennis teams travel to Connecticut this weekend to face MAAC rival Quinnipiac and out-of-conference foe Sacred Heart.

First Serve- The Niagara men look to climb over .500 in conference play this week vs Quinnipiac. The Purple Eagles have won two of their last three conference matches.Â
- The Niagara women are coming off a pair of 7-0 victories their last time out, downing Rider and Monmouth in convincing fashion. With a victory vs Quinnipiac, the women would have their first three-game MAAC win-streak since concluding the 2014-15 season with five straight MAAC wins.Â
Across The Net- The Quinnipiac Men own a 9-6 record and are currently 2-0 in the MAAC. The Quinnipiac Women are 7-9 overall and also 2-0 in the MAAC. The NU men are 1-1 all-time against Quinnipiac in MAAC play while the women seek their first-ever MAAC victory over the Bobcats. This match will serve as Quinnipiac's Senior Day.
- The Sacred Heart Men are 6-9 overall and are 2-6 in their last eight matches. The Sacred Heart Women are 6-7 on the season and 3-1 in their last four.
Match Points- Chris Grossi, Felipe Fuentes and Francis Nadeau share the team lead with five match victories
- The combination of Fuentes and Nadeau also lead the team with 4 doubles victories
- Freshman Shannon Wong leads the women with 12 singles victories and is the most recent recipient of the MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week after helping lead NU to a weekend sweep of Rider and Monmouth
- Haley Hollins has 10 singles victories and combined with Sydnee Wheeler, leads the team with five doubles victories on the season
