Tennis Travels To New Jersey To Face Rider, Monmouth

The Niagara men's and women's tennis programs continue conference play at Rider on Friday and Monmouth on Saturday.


First Serve
  • The Niagara men have dropped six of their last seven matches.
  • Through three MAAC matches, the NU men are 1-2 for the second straight season.
  • The Purple Eagles finished last season winning four straight conference matches to earn the three seed in the MAAC Tournament.
  • The Niagara women are 5-7, including 2-1 in MAAC play, and are 2-2 in their last four matches.

  • The Rider men are 1-11 and 0-3 in the MAAC while the women's team is 1-10 and 0-5 in the MAAC. The Monmouth men are 7-7 with a 1-0 record in MAAC play while the women's team is 1-8 and 1-1 in MAAC action.

  • Briseno, who missed the final 11 matches last season due to injury, is on a three-match winning streak
