NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara men's tennis team closed out its regular season with a 5-2 win over the Saint Saints on senior day.
 
Niagara (12-10, 5-2 MAAC), which will be the third seed in next week's MAAC Tournament, handedly defeated Siena (3-13, 1-6 MAAC). Prior to the match, NU recognized the three seniors on the team – Matt Bojanowski, Lorenz Schwojer and Mathieu Lacasse – and all three seniors picked up wins.
 
The duo of Schwojer and Lacasse won in No. 2 doubles, 8-3, to improve to 18-10 on the season. Bojanowski joined David Raymond in three doubles to win 8-6 in their first-ever doubles match together as NU clinched the doubles point.
 
In singles, Raymond won his 20th match of the season with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in No. 2 singles while Olivier Dufour-Coursol won his 21st match and his eighth straight match with a straight set win in three singles. Schwojer also won his eighth straight and 21st match of the season with a 6-2, 6-1 win in No. 4 singles. Lacasse won in five singles with a 7-5, 6-0 score.
