AMHERST, N.Y. – The Niagara men’s tennis team fell to local rival Buffalo, 6-1, on Friday.
Niagara (4-3) dropped the doubles point after losing all three doubles matches. Buffalo (4-2) picked up three quick wins in No. 5, No. 3 and No. 2 singles to clinch the match.
Niagara’s lone win of the match came from
Mathieu Lacasse in No. 6 singles. Lacasse defeated Sergio Arevalillo in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, for his third consecutive win.
The Purple Eagles are back on the court on Friday, March 1 when they host NJIT at 5 p.m.
