FARMVILLE, Va. – Niagara baseball heads to Virginia for a four-game set against the Longwood Lancers starting on Friday at 3 pm.
Coming off of a win against the West Virginia Mountaineers, the Purple Eagles will rely on
Eric Hink to continue his strong play from earlier in the week. Against the Mountaineers, the Harleysville, Pa. native went 6-for-eight at the plate with seven RBIs and a home run.
Drew Fittry will take the mound for Niagara in game one. The right-hander is 2-0 in his four starts this season with 19 strikeouts in 21.2 innings pitched. He will go up against the Lancers’ Kyler Morgan who has a 2-0 record in his three starts with a 3.79 ERA.
