Baseball Loses 15-1, Swept By Kansas State

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Niagara baseball team fell 15-1 to Big 12 opponent Kansas State to complete a four-game sweep by the Wildcats on Sunday afternoon.

Niagara (2-9) scored the game's first run off of a RBI single by Timothy Cozier (Ajax, Ont.) in the first inning. Kansas State (10-2) responded by scoring seven runs from the first to fourth innings.

The Purple Eagles will play in the Villanova Baseball Classic starting March 13.
