NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – The Niagara University women’s tennis team won its third consecutive match with a 5-2 non-conference victory over Robert Morris late Saturday night at the Sportsplex in North Tonawanda. The win improved the Purple Eagles’ record to 7-9.
Double winners for Niagara included senior Danielle Grenier (Fort Erie, Ont.), junior Julianne Prokopich (Loretto, Ont.) and classmate Jacquelyn Cary (Selkirk, N.Y.).
Niagara returns to Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action when it plays at Rider and at Marist next week.
