Ali Hutchinson is a four-year letterwinner and starter for the Purple Eagles. During her career, she played between the fourth and sixth slot in singles and played in all three doubles lineup. 
Hutchinson had a career-season during the 2017-18 season. The Purple Eagles qualified for the MAAC Tournament that season which was one of her most memorable moment as a Purple Eagle. She won 10 singles matches to be one of five Purple Eagles with double-digit wins. In doubles, her and partner Chhinda Som had a winning record, including a 5-1 mark in MAAC matches, and their 10 wins were tied for team-high honors. 
She was named MAAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on April 4, 2018. She went unbeaten in singles and doubles matches as Niagara split a pair of matches with Binghamton and Monmouth. Hutchinson won both of her singles matches in No. 4 singles - a three-set match versus Binghamton's Ashley Granieri, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3, on March 30 and a straight set win, 6-1, 6-1, versus Monmouth. 
Hutchinson was a part of Beta Alpha Psi and SAAC. A three-time MAAC All-Academic and MAAC Academic Honor Roll member, Hutchinson will earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She has secured a position at an accounting firm and will pursue a master’s degree in accounting at Niagara.Â
