MacLean had a stellar senior season, turning in multiple career-best performances. At the Bucknell Invitational, he fired a 72 (+2) in the second round, which is his best career round. He placed 12th at the Little Three Championship and carded a two-round score of 151 (+11), which is his lowest two-round score. He tied for 14th place at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate after shooting a 73 (+3). As a junior, MacLean earned a 2-up match play win against Wagner and finished 14th at the Little Three Championship with a total score of 156 (+12). MacLean earned his highest career finish in a dual match with Canisius. He placed ninth after carding a 76 (+6). 

MacLean is a two-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree and is a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honor society for economics. He will graduate in the spring with a degree in supply chain management and plans to remain at Niagara to complete a graduate degree.
