This Week in Niagara Athletics: Sep. 28 – Oct. 4
Women's golf kicks the week off as they travel to Sewickley, PA, to partake in the Golf Galaxy Collegiate on Monday, September 28, with the tournament set to conclude on Tuesday, September 29.
The Purple Eagles host cross-town rival Canisius for the first Battle of the Bridge matchup of the 2026-27 year on Tuesday, September 29, with a 6 p.m. start time inside the Gallagher Center. The Purple and White then travel to Jersey City, NJ to take on Saint Peter's on Friday, October 2, for a 6 p.m. start. Niagara will head over to Lawrenceville, NJ to take on Rider for a 2 p.m. start time.
Men's Soccer continues to stay on the Ridge as they host Siena on Wednesday, September 30, with game time slated for 4 p.m. at Niagara Field. The Purple Eagles then travel to Lawrenceville, NJ, to take on Rider on Saturday, October 3, for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
Cross Country is back in action as they travel to Bethlehem, PA, to take part in the Paul Short Run on Friday, October 2.
Bowling competes in their first competition of the season as they head to Erie, PA, to partake in the Mercyhurst Invitational on Friday, October 2, and will conclude the tournament on Sunday, October 4.
Hockey kicks off its 2026-27 season as they host RIT on Friday, October 2 for a 7 p.m. puck drop inside Dwyer Arena. The Purple and White will then head to Rochester, NY to play RIT on Saturday, October 3 for a 5:05 puck drop.
Men's Golf is back in action they head to Lake Placid, NY, to play in the Columbia Autumn Invitational on Saturday, October 3, and will play the final round on Sunday, October 4.
Swimming is set to host McMaster for their first meet of the season on Saturday, October 3, for a 12 p.m. start time at the Oxy Aquatic Center located inside the Kiernan Center.
The Purple Eagles head back home on Saturday, October 3 to host Saint Peter's for a noon start time at Niagara Field.
