NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. - Niagara women's lacrosse seniors Maddy Gill and Sydney Huhtala have been named to the IWLCA the rosters for the 2026 Senior All-Star games for Division I.
The players selected in each Division have been divided into two teams: Blue and White. The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., on Saturday, May 30, 2026 with the Division I game at 12:30 pm.
Huhtala was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Year as well as the All-MAAC First Team for the third straight season. She led the conference and the team with 55 caused turnovers and 52 ground balls to eclipse over 200 career in both categories. The Baldwinsville, NY native also found the back of the net against Battle of the Bridge rival Canisius.
For the second straight season Gill was tabbed to the All-MAAC First Team. The Corning, NY native tallied 27 goals and a career-high eight assists for 35 points. The senior started all 16 games this season recording five hat tricks.
