Geneva, OH — Niagara swimmers delivered strong performances on the third day of the 2026 MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday, with multiple Purple Eagles reaching the podium across individual and relay events at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, OH.
Sophomore Marty Divis captured the women's 400 IM in 4:25.46.
Chloe Vlaeminck finished third in the 400 IM with a time of 4:27.33.
Holden Brock set a new program record for the Purple Eagles in the 400-yard IM with a time of 3:54.33 despite finishing in fourth.
Natalie Killion continued her dominant championship, taking second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:48.66.
Alaina Pitton added a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke, clocking 1:00.87.
On the men's side, freshman
Vilem Mikula won the 100 backstroke in 47.51.
The Niagara women's 400-yard medley relay team of Killion, Pitton,
Mary Carl and
Claire Gorton touched the wall in 3:40.75 to claim second place.
The Niagara men's 400 medley relay team of Mikula,
Thomas Latimer,
Jura Domanovac and Brock finished third in 3:16.25, posting an NIC A qualifying time.
The women finished third overall in the team standings with 738 points, while the men placed third with 767.33 points.
