Rochetser, NY - The Niagara cross country teams competed in the Yellowjacket Invitational hosted by the University of Rochester.
Alexa Briggs took home first place for the second week in a row, finishing the 6k course in 21:57.2 which is the second fastest time in school history, as the team took home seventh place.
Haley Haskett placed 25th with a time of 23:21.5, while Mercedez Covey was the third highest finishing Purple Eagle crossing the line in 24:27.8.
Olivia Meier (66th/24:29.7) and Ryanna Brady (73rd/24:24.5) rounded out the top five finishers for Niagara.
On the men's side the team placed 10th overall with Brodie Terkhorn placing 18th with a time of 26:03.3.
Caleb Noble finished the 8k course in 27:11.2, while Caleb Harman had a time of 27:15.7.
Chase Bolen (27:17.4) and Ryan Capo (28:09.3) rounded out the Purple Eagles top five finishers.
