Niagara women's soccer freshman goalkeeper Julia Poissant has been named MAAC Defensive Player of the week the conference announced Monday.
 
Against Le Moyne Poissant recorded her first collegiate shutout recording one save.
 
Women's soccer is back in action Thursday August 28^th at Mercyhurst for a 5 p.m. start.
