Niagara University, NY - Niagara head coach Jada Pierce announced today that Abimbola Adewumi, Tamari'a Rumph, Raven Sims and Jade Campbell have all committed to join the Purple Eagles women's basketball program for the 2025-26 season.
Adewumni is a redshirt-sophomore transfer from UMBC by way of Winnipeg, Manitoba where she appeared in 23 games, starting two. The guard totaled 47 points and 27 rebounds on the season and had a season high of 14 points against NJIT.
"We are ecstatic about welcoming Abimbola to our Purple Eagle family! She is an athletic guard that is a tenacious defender capable of making plays on both sides of the ball."
Rumph comes to Niagara as a transfer from Morgan State by way of Sacramento, California. The junior guard averaged 5.8 points/game and totaled 81 rebounds in 35 games during her two years with the Bears. Â

Sims is another transfer, this time from the University of Memphis. The junior guard appeared in 57 games and during her freshman season recorded a season-high 16 points against Alabama State. The AAC All-Academic Team member also recorded 35 steals during her two seasons with the Tigers.

Campbell comes to Monteagle Ridge from Saint Francis (Pa.) as a junior forward. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native appeared in 49 games for the Red Flash totaling 193 rebounds, putting up two double doubles and tallied a career-high 19 rebounds twice.
