ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Two Niagara University women's basketball players have been named to the 2024-25 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team, the league office announced Monday.

Senior Aaliyah Parker and junior Jade Rutledge were recognized for their achievements in the classroom. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must complete two semesters at their institution and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

The MAAC announced a total of 71 student-athletes to the All-Academic Team. Marist University and Merrimack College led the conference with nine selections each, while Niagara was among four schools with two honorees.

The 2024-25 season concludes with the MAAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, which run March 11-15 at Atlantic City's Historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
