Niagara University, NY - Sydney Huhtala was named to IWLCA Northeast Region Second Team.

Huhtala was a focal point on the Purple Eagles defense this past season leading the MAAC in ground balls per game with 3.88 and caused turnovers per game with 3.41.

The MAAC Defensive Player of the Year tallied 71 ground balls, 61 caused turnovers, 26 draw controls and recorded a goal.
