BOSTON, Mass. - Niagara men's hockey forward Marshall Finnie has been named Atlantic Hockey America Rookie of the Week the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Finnie recorded two goals in his collegiate debut in a 5-2 victory over St. Lawrence. Finnie opened the scoring for the Purple Eagles on the powerplay then followed it up with his second power play goal of the season.
Finnie and the Purple Eagles will return to the ice on Friday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. against Bowling Green inside Dwyer Arena.
