NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – Niagara hockey was selected to finish fourth based on a vote by the league's head coaches in the Atlantic Hockey America Preseason Poll, the league office announced Tuesday morning.
Niagara is entering its ninth season under head coach Jason Lammers and is coming off its third-straight season with a winning percentage over .500 in 2024-25. The Purple Eagles went 18-16-3 overall and 15-9-2 in AHA action last season.
The Purple Eagles return a total of 11 goal scorers from 24-25, including senior Noah Hackett who scored 11 goals last season to go with six assists for a total of 17 points.
Niagara will officially drop the puck on the 2025-26 season on Oct. 4 at home against St. Lawrence.
