Cross Country Announces 2023 Schedule

Niagara University, N.Y.—Niagara men's and women's cross country have revealed their schedule for the upcoming 2023 season.

The Purple Eagles open the season with the Little 3 Championships on Sept. 9 as Niagara renews the long standing Little 3 rivalry with Canisius and St. Bonaventure. Canisius will host the event this season. 

Following a weekend off, the Purple Eagles head to South Bend, Indiana to compete in the National Catholic Invite hosted by Notre Dame on Sept. 15.

On Sept. 30 the Purple Eagles travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to compete in the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University.

The Purple Eagles close out the regular season by heading to Bowling Green, OH to compete in the Falcon Invite hosted by Bowling Green on Oct. 13.

Championship season starts on Oct. 28 as the Purple Eagles travel to Montgomery, N.Y. for the MAAC Championships which will be hosted by Manhattan.

NCAA Northeast Regional are on Nov. 11 as Niagara travels to Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y.

Three Purple Eagles return on the men's team while they welcome five freshman for 2023. The women have nine returners and welcome one freshman.
