NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – Niagara athletics will have six programs in action this week, including home events for women's soccer and men's soccer on Thursday and Friday, respectively.

• The Purple and White will host Cornell Thursday night at 7 p.m., followed by a road match against Cleveland State on Sunday, Sept. 4.
• Niagara picked up their first win of the season on Sunday afternoon with a 1-0 result over Navy in Annapolis, Md.

Felicia Grufman picked up her first clean sheet of the season with a five save performance against Navy.

• The Purple Eagles will host Dartmouth on Friday for their home opener. Kickoff between Niagara and the Ivy League foe is set for 7 p.m. at Niagara Field.
• Niagara is 0-2 on the season after dropping both games of its California road trip.

• Niagara went 1-2 at the Hofstra Invitational this past weekend, picking up a sweep of Bryant.
• Senior Taylor Allen was named to the Hofstra Invitational All-Tournament Team.
