NIAGARA UNIV., NY – The Purple Eagle hockey team released the AHA portion of their 2022-23 schedule Tuesday morning. The schedule includes 12 home games and four-game season series with AIC, Bentley, Army, and Mercyhurst. 
 
The 26-game slate begins with a three week-homestand from Oct. 14-Oct. 28, Niagara faces AIC, Sacred Heart, and Mercyhurst at Dwyer Arena. The series with AIC will be the defending AHA Champions' first trip to Monteagle Ridge since the 2018-19 season. 
 
The Purple and White will conclude the month of October at Mercyhurst on Saturday, Oct. 29. 
 
The road swing continues into November when NU travels to Waltham, Mass., to square off with Bentley in its lone conference contests of the month.
 
Atlantic Hockey action resumes in December with a two-week road trip. The first stop before winter break comes in West Point to take on Army Dec. 2-3, before the Purple and White travel to Springfield, Mass., to conclude its season series with AIC Dec. 8-9. 
 
Niagara welcomes Bentley to Dwyer Arena Jan. 13-14 before heading west to take on Air Force in Colorado Springs, Colo. The series with Bentley will mark Niagara's first home games in 2023.
 
The Purple Eagles return to Western New York, first to take on Canisius in the annual Battle of the Bridge Jan. 27-28 at LECOM HarborCenter, before returning to Monteagle Ridge for the next four games. Niagara will host Army and RIT on back-to-back weekends, concluding the four-game set with the Cadets and welcoming regional rival RIT to Dwyer for the duo's lone season meetings. 
 
Niagara will then play their final three road games of the season, Feb. 17-24, the first two in Worcester, Mass., against Holy Cross and then one in Erie, Pa., against Mercyhurst. The Purple Eagles will wrap up the campaign at home against Mercyhurst on Feb. 25.
