Niagara University, NY - Niagara men's hockey freshman forward Maxim Muranov has been named to the 2025-26 Atlantic Hockey All-Rookie Team the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.

Muranov appeared in 33 games, recording eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points. The Moskva, Russia native recorded the Purple Eagles first hat-trick since the 2018-19 season. 

Muranov's top performances came against Army, as he recorded a seven point weekend on way to Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week with four goals and three assists with a four-point game in the weekend opener.

The Purple and White finished the season with an 13-23-1 overall record, including a 9-16-1 AHA record making it to the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals.
