NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – The Niagara men's and women's swimming and diving head coach Eric Bugby has announced the teams' schedules for the 2021-22 season.
 
Prior to the official start of the 2021-22 campaign the Purple Eagles will compete at the CSCAA Open Water Championships on Sep. 17 in Lawrence, Kansas, as well as host their annual Purple & White Meet on Sep 18.
 
The official start for Purple Eagles will be at Binghamton on October 9. The men will take on the Bearcats, while the women will take part in a tri-meet with Binghamton and Siena.
 
Niagara opens its home schedule on October 30 when they welcome Nazareth College to Oxy Aquatic Center, followed by a trip to Youngstown, OH, where the men will have a dual-meet with Youngstown and the women will take part in a tri-meet with the Penguins and Saint Francis (PA).
 
The first semester comes to a close with the Zippy Invite on Dec. 3-5 in Akron, Ohio.
 
The Purple Eagles return to action on January 8 when they take on Howard in Orlando, FL before returning to Western New York.
 
Niagara will close the season with a pair of home meets, the first against rival Canisius on January 22 and then versus St. Bonaventure on Jan. 29.
 
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships return to the Burt Flickinger Center on March 10-12. Niagara will co-host the event with Canisius.
