⢠Monday will mark the first-ever meeting between the Purple Eagles and Lakers during the Atlantic Hockey tournament.
⢠Niagara posted a 1-2-1 record against Mercyhurst during the regular season, including a 2-1 win in the season series's final game on Feb. 20.
⢠Niagara enters the postseason as the No. 5 seed in the west, while Mercyhurst will be the No. 4 seed.
⢠The Purple Eagles are 18-18 overall in the Atlantic Hockey Tournament, while the Lakers have a 30-23 mark in postseason play. The Lakers won the AHA Title in 2005.

⢠Freshman
Jesse Pomeroy was named AHA Rookie of the Week for his two assists in Saturday's 4-0 win over Canisius. Pomeroy is the first Purple Eagle to earn Rookie of the Week honors since
Chad Veltri was named ROTW on Feb. 25, 2020.

Ryan Cox led Niagara with six goals after scoring two times during the weekend split with Canisius on Feb. 26-27.

Michael Corson split time in between the pipes for Niagara during the regular season. Veltri posted a 2.88 GAA and save percentage of .891, while Corson had a 3.28 GAA and save percentage of .903.
⢠Sommer and Naumovski are tied for ninth in Atlantic Hockey with 13 points.
⢠Niagara has the 19th best scoring offense in college hockey, averaging 3.0 goals per game.
