The Purple Eagles defeated the Griffs, 2-1, in a non-conference matchup on Thursday, March 25. It was Niagara's first victory over Canisius since Oct. 30, 2013.
The Purple Eagles return to Niagara Field for the first time since Nov. 6, 2019.

Asher Barnes scored his first two collegiate goals against Canisius on Thursday. Barnes has a perfect 100% shots-on-goal percentage and leads the team in points with four.
