AKRON, OH – The Purple Eagles continued their record-breaking performances Saturday at the Zippy Invite in Akron, Ohio.
Women's Recap
• The women's 800 free relay broke the program record with a time of 7:44.22 during prelims. The quartet included
Katrina Wardner,
Moana Houde-Camirand,
Megan Smith and
Maggie Marody.
• Wardner broke another program record – this time in the 400 IM with a time of 4:27.57. The time helped the Orchard Park, NY, native qualify for the finals. Wardner finished 14th in the 400 IM final with a time of 4:31.56.

Kathryn Brady and
Megan Smith also qualified for the 400 IM final with a time of 4:30.62 and 4:33.68, respectively.
• Brady finished with a time of 4:35.09 and Smith with a time of 4:31.64 in 16th and 25th overall.
• Houde-Camirand posted a time of 1:58.16 in the 200 free, qualifying for the finals later in the day. In the finals, Houde-Camirand finished with a time of 1:52.90.
• Brady also qualified 100 breast final with a time of 1:05.84, followed by
Amanda Silva who recorded a time of 1:06.11 and Smith with a time of 1:06.51.
• Brady qualified for the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.84 and then followed it up with a 1:06.27 time in the finals, for a 24 place finish.
• Silva finished the 100 breast finals with a time of 1:06.36 and Smith with a time of 1:06.79.
• The women's 200 medley relay of
Paige South, Silva, Wardner and Houde-Camirand recorded a time of 1:46.04 to finish 19th overall. Niagara's 'B' relay team of
Yvonne Schere, Kayla Kreager, Delaney LaBue and
Lila Maddux posted a time of 1:51.01 for 24th position.
• South set a program record with a time of 56.80 after qualifying with a time of 58.99 earlier in the day.

Maggie Hennebaul, Lexi Seelbach and
Chloe Noah each competed in the 3-meter diving event. The trio posted scores of 165.55, 128.25, 113.50.
• The women sit in ninth place after day two of 249.
Men's Recap
•
Nathan Dragon picked up where he left off on Friday, qualifying for the men's 200 free final with a time of 1:40.17.
• Dragon finished sixth with a time of 1:40.56 to secure 24 points for the men's team.
•
Reid Tichy also qualified for the 200 free final with a time of 1:41.05 and then cut a second off his time in the finals with a mark of 1:40.00.
•
Tanner Isaacs recorded a time of 57.48 in the preliminary round of the 100 breast, qualifying for finals.
• Later in the day Isaacs posted a time of 56.47 in the 100 breast final.
• The 200 free relay team of
Gio Germano, Isaacs,
Kevin Vu, and Dragon set a program record with a time of 1:31.47.
•
Kevin Vu qualified for the 100 fly with a time of 44.66 and then posted a time of 49.58 for 16th overall in the finals.
• The men's 800 free relay of
Robert Flannery, Rowan Makham, Dragon and Tichy finished with a time of 6:51.39.
• The men are in seventh with 351 points after two days of action.
