EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced the Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving preseason polls. The Niagara men and women were each selected seventh in their respective polls.
 
The swimming & diving season begins on Saturday, Oct. 9 when Niagara travels to Binghamton. The men will compete in a dual-meet with Binghamton, while the women will have a tri-meet with the host Bearcats and Siena Saints.
 
The Purple Eagles will compete in a total of six events on the men's side while the women will compete in seven before the MAAC Swimming and Diving Championships. The league's premier event will take place Feb. 9-12 at the Burt Flickinger Center in downtown Buffalo.
