Multiple Purple Eagles Run PRs And Season-Bests At MAACs

ORLANDO, Fla. – The men's and women's cross country teams finished the MAAC Championships on Saturday. The women's team placed ninth and the men's team placed 10^th.

Women's Meet Notes

Annina Marullo led the Purple Eagles in the 6k, finishing with a season-best time of 23:32.6. She placed 54^th.
Alissa Mete placed 69^th with a time of 23:59.0 and Meggie Hart placed 70^th with a time of 23:59.4.
Sara Mueller (24:51.7) and Elle Russell (24:54.7) finished 95^th and 96^th, respectively, and Emily Dembowski (25:56.6) placed 114^th.
Lydia Chunco finished in 26:01.8, which is a personal record. She placed 115^th. Kate Pratt also set a personal record, finishing in 119^th with a time of 26:41.9.
Tori Achtziger-Hughes (27:14.8), Casey Roman (28:20.5) and Grace Kibler (29:00.2) all ran season-best times.

Men's Meet Notes

Spencer Swoboda finished the 8k with a personal-best time of 27:49.8. He placed 100^th.
Gabe Valdivia placed 116^th with a time of 28:46.3.
Bobby Adams finished 112nd with a time of 29:03.7.
Braden York ran a personal-best of 30:25.8 and finished in 135^th.
Josh Wisto placed 137^th with a time of 30:46.4.
