After a full week of respite, the Niagara softball team returns to action for three doubleheaders in a four-day span. The Purple Eagles will travel to Albany before defending home turf against a pair of MAAC foes this weekend.

• Last time out, the Purple Eagles were swept at home by the Akron Zips, 1-0 and 4-0.
• Maggie Vesneske continues to lead the Purple Eagles with a batting average of .265 and a .351 on-base percentage.
• In the circle, starting pitchers Sierra Bertrand (3.95), Jennifer Szilagyi (4.51), and Karsen Cotton (4.91) have all brought their ERAs below 5.00 and have combined to strike out 151 batters in 179.0 innings.

• Albany has three batters with an average above .300 – Katie Falotico (.368), Sarah Petzold (.359), and Maranda Jiminez (.310).

• Harley Connors' .278 batting average leads all Peacock batters.
• With an ERA of 7.85, Sydney Senerchia holds the lowest ERA on the Saint Peter's pitching staff.

 
Scouting The Jaspers

• Manhattan has won seven of its last eight games, most recently sweeping Sacred Heart in a non-conference doubleheader on April 23.
• Lauren Pitney's .419 batting average is nearly 100 points higher than the next-leading batter on the Jaspers' roster.
• Kayla McDermott has the most wins (8) and lowest ERA (3.53) among Manhattan's five qualifying pitchers.
