2020:
As a pitcher Karsen started four games, pitched 14.1 innings, recorded an 8.79 ERA, and struck out twelve batters. Was also a member of the MAAC academic honor roll.

2019:
Pitched in 23 games over the course of the season with 13 starts. Posted an ERA of 3.83 after allowing 41 earned runs in 75.0 innings. Recorded 60 strikeouts to just 22 walks with an overall record of 7-8. Posted a season-high eight strikeouts and 7.0 IP during an 8-5 win against Marist (May 5). Made postseason debut against Siena (May 9), striking out four in 4.0 innings. Went 2-0 in two appearances at MAAC tournament, allowing zero ER, four hits, and one walk in 8.0 IP.

2018:
Appeared in 18 of Niagara’s 49 games as a freshman, making 13 starts (12 at pitcher, one as first base)…Finished first on the team with a batting average .333 (1-for-3), had a .333 slugging percentage and .333 on-base percentage…Finished the season with a fielding percentage of .966 (seven putouts, 21 assists)…Recorded a 3-9 record with a 5.10 ERA and 34 strikeouts in 70.0 innings…Had six games striking out three or more batters…First win of the season with five strikeouts in 6.0 innings against Robert Morris (2/10)…Threw 83 pitches in a complete-game with one strikeout against Binghamton (3/5)… Had a five strikeouts in 3.2 innings, in the second of a doubleheader at Youngstown State (4/13).

Before Niagara:
A two sport athlete at Depew High School...played four year of volleyball and six years of softball...softball player of the year for the 2016-2017 year...All WNY player her last 4 years...state champion in the 20-16-2017 season.
