Playoff Picture*
  • Niagara currently holds the seventh spot in the MAAC table with a 2-5 conference record, one spot out of a playoff position. By virtue of the tiebreakers laid out by the conference, the highest seed the Purple Eagles can claim is sixth, meaning the team will travel to the third seed for a first round game should they clinch a spot in the postseason field.
  • Niagara will only qualify for the postseason if one of the following conditions are met:
    • Niagara wins AND Canisius ties or loses.
    • Niagara ties AND Quinnipiac ties or loses AND Canisius loses.

Niagara Notes
  • In their last outing, the Purple Eagles were narrowly nipped, 12-11, at Canisius.
  • Rachel MacCheyne was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week on April 15 following two games that saw the senior tally 16 points (12 G, 4 A) and break several program records. MacCheyne became Niagara's all-time leading goal scorer after a seven-goal effort against Marist on April 10, then became the all-time leader in draw controls while also becoming the first Purple Eagle to eclipse 300 for her career.
  • MacCheyne is third the nation in free position goals per game (1.75) and fourth in the country with 9.06 draw controls per game.
  • Caroline Crump's 15 assists lead the squad while her 41 goals and 56 points both rank second.
  • All-time, Niagara holds a 9-14 record against Manhattan. The Purple Eagles have won each of the last four meetings between the two schools, the most recent of which occurred on April 7, 2018 in Riverdale, New York, and saw Niagara leave with an 11-5 victory.

Milestone Watch
  • Caroline Crump
    • Needs five assists for 20 on the year, which will tie her personal record for the ninth-most successful season in that category.
  • Hailey D'Hont
    • Is four caused turnovers away from joining Niagara's career top 10 (45).
  • Aubrey DeVeau
    • Needs one save to tie Olivia Schneider (97) and enter Niagara's top 10.
  • Rachel MacCheyne
    • Is one caused turnover away from joining Niagara's career top 10.
    • Trails her own school record for goals in a season (60) by just one.
    • Four more points will also give her the school's single-season record in that category. She currently holds the record with 75, which she set as a sophomore in 2017.
  • Amy McNally
    • Is three caused turnovers away from joining Niagara's career top 10.
