For the first time in almost a month, the Niagara women's lacrosse team returns home for a Sunday matinee against Marquette. The Purple Eagles are 2-0 in their first two games at Niagara Field this season, outscoring Saint Bonaventure and CCSU by a combined 33-8.

Niagara Notes
- The Purple Eagles most recent outing as a 25-11 loss to UMass on March 13 in DeLand, Florida. Rachel MacCheyne once again led Niagara in the offensive end, scoring five times for her seventh hat trick of the year.
- MacCheyne continues to pour in goals for the Purple Eagles. Her 31 strikes are tied for fifth in the country and lead the MAAC. With 4.43 goals per game, she ranks fourth in Division I.
- MacCheyne has also won 10.43 draw controls per game, the second-best rate in the country.
- As a team, the Purple Eagles rake in 21.00 ground balls per game, second-best in the MAAC and tied for 30th overall.

- Caroline Crump
- Has 41 caused turnovers, seven away from tying Elizabeth Benedict (48) and joining the top 10 in program history.
- Is six goals away from becoming the third-leading scorer in program history and passing Megan McNerney (128).
- Aubrey DeVeau
- Needs five saves to tie Olivia Schneider (97) and enter Niagara's top 10.
- Rachel MacCheyne
- Can reach top 10 status and tie Elizabeth Benedict ('16) with six more caused turnovers.
- Eight more goals by MacCheyne would put her into the top 10 in terms of single-season scoring, tying her with Megan McNerney's 2001 total of 39.
- Would become the second Purple Eagle ever with 200 career points with six more points.
- Will pass Mary Cutia (202) to become Niagara's all-time leading points-getter with nine more points.
- Alexis Morales
- Is two goals away from surpassing Carrie-Jo Faruggia (103) for career goals.

Milestones Met
- With three points against UMass on Wednesday, Crump notched her 180th career point, passing Sandra Gallegos (178) to become the third-leading points-getter in Niagara history.
- With 15 draw controls against the Minutewomen, MacCheyne broke a seventh-place tie with Danielle Maio (58) and jumped up to fourth place in terms of most draw controls won in a single season.

Scouting The Golden Eagles
- Marquette is coming off a 19-8 victory over Canisius in Buffalo, New York on March 15. The Golden Eagles have one common opponent with Niagara in their first nine games, having dropped an 11-9 decision to Ohio State on March 1.
- Grace Gabriel's 30 goals, 33 points, and 63 draw controls are all team highs. Her 16 ground balls are a high for field players, trailing only goalkeeper Julianna Horning.
- Horning earned her fourth win of the season against the Golden Griffins and has started every game of the year thus far.
- This will be the second matchup ever between Marquette and Niagara. Last season, the Purple Eagles traveled to Milwaukee, ultimately dropping the decision, 23-15.
