Returning to the state of Florida for the first time since 2017, the Niagara women's lacrosse team looks to conclude its four-game road trip on a high note. The Purple Eagles will take on UMass in the first-ever meeting between the schools.

Niagara Notes
- The Purple Eagles are coming off a 17-13 defeat to Bryant on March 9. Niagara got out to a quick, 3-0 start before the Bulldogs clawed their way into the lead late in the first half.
- Rachel MacCheyne's eight goals in two games to continue her impressive start to the 2019 campaign. The senior captain has recorded a hat trick in each of the team's first six games, totaling 26 goals, and is tied for fifth in the country in goals per game (4.33).
- MacCheyne is third among Division I players in draw controls per game (9.67), fifth in free-position goals per game (1.67), and tied for 14th in shots on goal per game (6.00).
- With 2.17 causted turnovers per game, Lauren Paul is 20th in the nation in that category. She also ranks tied for 10th for ground balls per game (3.83).
- Maren Geiger's .495 save percentage is fourth-best among all freshman in Division I.
- Though the matchup with UMass is a first, this will be the third time Niagara has played at Stetson's Athletic Training Center. The first two occasions came in 2015 and 2017 when Stetson was the opponent. The Purple Eagles have never lost in DeLand, with their most recent result being a 16-14 win over the Hatters on March 10, 2017.

Milestone Watch
- ONE: Crump needs just nine more points to pass Sandra Gallegos, the third-leading points-getter in Niagara history (178).
- FIVE: Aubrey DeVeau needs five saves to tie Olivia Schneider (97) and enter Niagara's top 10.
- SIX: With six more caused turnovers, Rachel MacCheyne (42) can reach top 10 status and tie Elizabeth Benedict ('16).
- EIGHT: Caroline Crump (40) is eight caused turnovers away from joining the top 10 in program history for that category.
- With a goal at Yale and a hat trick at Bryant, Alexis Morales became the sixth player ever to record 100 career goals in the purple and white.
- By recording two assists at Yale and another three at Bryant, Crump leapfrogged from seventh all-time into a tie for fourth with Carrie-Jo Farrugia (56) and surpassing Ashley Baker (55) Ashley Grosso (55).
- With five caused turnovers last weekend, Lauren Paul is now in sole possession of fourth place in Niagara's history (58), eclipsing Katie Callahan (54), Danielle Maio (55), and Jillian Ford (55).

Scouting The Minutewomen
- Winners of three straight, UMass comes into the contest with Niagara after taking out Ohio State, 15-14, in DeLand on Monday. The Minutewomen opened their season with a 24-4 shellacking of Bryant, and have also defeated MAAC mainstay Marist, 18-8.
- Ahead of MacCheyne and leading the country in goals per game in UMass' Kiley Anderson, who has 32 scores in six games (5.33 GPG).
- Anderson also paces UMass with 37 draw controls (6.17 DC/G)
- Kaitlyn Cerasi leads the team with 16 assists.
- Gina Carroll has played every second of the season in net for the Minutewomen and holds a 13.67 goals-against average and a .388 save percentage.
