Women's Swimming & Diving Falls To Colgate and Canisius

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Niagara women's swimming and diving team fell to both Colgate (133-104) and Canisius (152-90) in a tri-meet on Saturday.

Meet Notes

Avery Sanquist won the 1000 free, finishing the event in 11:00.63. Sanquist placed second in the 500 free with a time of 5:23.89.
Yvonne Schere took second in the 200 free with a time of 2:00.21. She placed third in the 100 free with a time of 55.61.
The relay team of Isabella DeSimone, Hannah Charlton, Jenna Wagoner and Schere placed third in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:52.59.
DeSimone took third place in the 50 free with a time of 24.73.
Sydney Sarkis placed second in the 1-meter dive with a score of 223.25. She finished third in the 3-meter dive with a total score of 181.50.
Charlton finished third in the 100 fly with a time of 59.94.
The relay team of DeSimone, Delaney Labue, Lauren Nicastro and Lauren Hume took second in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:43.41.
