The Niagara Purple Eagles wrap up their New Jersey road swing against the Monmouth Hawks on Sunday, February 4 at 2 p.m.
 
Scene Setter
•  NU set season-highs in points, field goal percentage, free throws made, 3-pointers made, and in 3-point field goal percentage en route to defeating rival Canisius, 105-89, on January 27.
•  Niagara is 8-5 on the road this season, including a 4-2 road record in conference games, and is the only team in the MAAC with a winning overall road record.
•  The Purple Eagles are 7-2 in their last nine games, including a five-game win streak from January 5-18.
•  NU held off Monmouth, 78-77, when the two teams met on January 12 at the Gallagher Center to snap a nine-game losing streak in the series.
•  Niagara will be looking for its first win at Monmouth in five trips.

•  Matt Scott is 9th on the all-time list with 1,665 points and is 17 points behind Ed Fleming ('55) for eight. Scott ranks 25th among active scorers in NCAA Division I.
•  Kahlil Dukes became the newest member of the 1,000-Point Club at Niagara University on February 2 at Saint Peter's. Dukes, who entered the game five points away from 1,000, recorded his 1,000th point on a step back jumper in the second half.
•  Marvin Prochet LEADS the conference in rebounds per game (7.8) and defensive rebounds per game (5.8). Prochet's seven 10-rebound games LEAD the MAAC along with teammate Matt Scott.
•  Kahlil Dukes LEADS the conference in free throw percentage (.905), in 3-point field goal percentage (.433), 3-pointers per game (3.0), and total 3-pointers made (74). Dukes is fifth in the NCAA in career active free throw percentage (.908).
•  Kahlil Dukes' 16 20-point games LEAD the MAAC and are tied for eighth most in the NCAA.
•  Matt Scott's 17 career double-doubles LEAD all active MAAC players.
•  Kahlil Dukes has made 17 straight free throws.
•  Four Purple Eagles are averaging double figures in MAAC games – Kahlil Dukes (19.1 ppg), Matt Scott (16.5 ppg), James Towns (11.5 ppg), and Marvin Prochet (10.9 ppg).

Monmouth Hawks (7-15, 3-7 MAAC)
•  Monmouth is 2-4 since falling to the Purple Eagles on January 12. 
•  Senior Austin Tilghman (11.9) and freshman Deion Hammond (11.9) are averaging in double figures.
•  Redshirt-junior Micah Seaborn, who was an unanimous Preseason All-MAAC First Team selection, leads the Hawks in scoring at 14.8 points per game, but has only played in 13 out of 22 games.
•  The Hawks lead the MAAC in field goal percentage (.463) and in defensive rebounds per game (27.4).
 
Against the Hawks (Monmouth Leads 9-2)
•  The first meeting between the two programs was during the 2008-09 season, which Niagara won 71-48 in the Philly Hoop Group Classic in Philadelphia.
•  The Purple Eagles snapped a nine-game losing streak in the series with a 78-77 win on January 12. It was also Niagara's first win versus the Hawks since they joined the MAAC at the start of the 2013-14 season.
