Niagara University, N.Y. – Niagara Men's Basketball Head Coach Greg Paulus announced the addition of 12 student-athletes to the Purple Eagles' 2026-27 roster.

"We are excited to welcome these 12 student-athletes to Niagara basketball. Our staff worked to find players who not only fit our basketball philosophy, but also represent the values and culture of our program. This group brings a commitment to development, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset. We look forward to seeing their continued growth and the contributions they will make to our program, our campus, and the Niagara community."

Tae Blackshear
Blackshear arrives on Monteagle Ridge after playing his junior season at Youngstown State, where he appeared in 30 games. Tae averaged 6.8 points per game and shot 32.8 percent from 3-point range. He finished the season with nine games in double figures, including a season-high 22 points against Detroit Mercy.

"Tae is a versatile player with great size and the ability to shoot the basketball at a high level. His length, ability to stretch the defense in a variety of ways will add another dimension to our backcourt."

Bastien Rieber
Before arriving at Niagara, Rieber played his freshman campaign at Fresno State, appearing in all 32 games with seven starts. He averaged 4.0 points and 1.2 rebounds per game while shooting 34.8 percent from 3-point range and 74.5 percent from the free-throw line. Bastien recorded a career-high 15 points against UNLV, along with a season-high six assists against San Jose State.

"Bastien is a playmaking guard with experience representing the France National Team. He has terrific feel and timing for the game and loves to create opportunities for others on the court. His experience and unselfish play will elevate everyone around him."

Cole Farrell
Farrell played the 2025-26 season at Long Beach State, where he started all 32 games and averaged 6.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Cole recorded a season-high 16 points against Lincoln, along with six rebounds against UC San Diego. He spent his freshman and sophomore campaigns at Portland State.

"Cole brings a wealth of college basketball experience and versatility. He is an athletic player who can guard multiple positions and impact the game on both ends of the floor."

Daniel Emokhare
Emokhare appeared in eight games for Reggio Emilia in the Italy NextGen Cup during the 2025-26 season. He averaged 2.3 points per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field. Daniel also appeared in the 2025 Youth Basketball Champions League, playing in four games for Pallacanestro Reggiana.

"Daniel is an athletic big. His motor, size, and athleticism allow him to impact the game with effort plays, in the paint, and around the rim. He will bring another dimension to our frontcourt."

Fidel Rotta
Rotta played the 2025-26 season for Boca Juniors in Argentina, appearing in 10 games. He averaged 4.0 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Fidel recorded a season-high 20 points against Atlético Platense, shooting 80 percent from the field. He also represented Argentina at the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, appearing in seven games and averaging 11.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

"Fidel is a skilled big with international experience representing Argentina. He has a high basketball IQ, and his feel for the game, decision-making, and ability to make the players around him better will strengthen our frontcourt."

Logan Woods
Woods appeared in 32 games with 25 starts during the 2025-26 season at Wright State. He averaged 5.3 points, shooting 45.0 percent overall and 33.3 percent from 3-point range. Logan scored a season-high 16 points against Purdue Fort Wayne, along with a season-high seven rebounds at California.

"Logan brings NCAA Tournament experience to our team. He carries winning intangibles and leadership. His willingness to do whatever the team needs, combined with his consistency and dependability, will have a positive impact on our program."

Noah Slingerland
Slingerland appeared in 33 games for Rotterdam City Basketball in Belgium during the 2025-26 campaign. He averaged 4.6 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 47.1 percent from the field. Noah scored a season-high 16 points against Okapi Aalst. He also represented the Netherlands in the Euro U20B tournament, where he played in eight games and averaged 5.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

"Noah is a versatile forward with experience representing the Netherlands National Team. He brings maturity, toughness, and contagious energy. He has a great feel for the game and will make our team better with his unselfish approach and commitment to winning."

Ruey Ruey
Ruey played the 2025-26 season for Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Va. He averaged 27.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while shooting 58 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range. Ruey was also named Eastern Prep League (EPL) Player of the Year while playing for Massanutten.

"Ruey is a talented player who had an outstanding senior year at Massanutten Military Academy. His size, scoring ability, and competitive mindset give him tremendous potential, and we are excited to help him continue his development."

Samuele Miccoli
Miccoli played the 2025-26 season for Crifo Wines Ruvo di Puglia in Italy. He appeared in 18 games, averaging 5.9 points and 2.9 assists per game. Samuele recorded a season-high 18 points against Unieuro Forlì, along with eight assists against Estra Pistoia. He also represented Italy in the Euro U18 tournament, appearing in seven games and averaging 5.6 points and 3.4 assists per game.

"Samuele is a dynamic guard with experience representing the Italian National Team. He has a great feel for the game and excels at creating opportunities for himself and his teammates. His decision-making and ability to make the right play will make our team better."

Vukasin Todorovic
Todorovic played his freshman season at Green Bay, where he appeared in 20 games, averaging 2.9 points and 1.5 rebounds per game while shooting 41.5 percent from the field. Vukasin scored a career-high nine points against Northern Kentucky.

"Vukasin is a versatile forward with experience representing the Slovenian National Team. He is a cerebral player who brings skill, energy, and feel for the game. He is a connector on and off the floor who gives maximum effort every day."

Brian Angeletti
Angeletti appeared in four games for U18 EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in Italy. He also appeared in the Euro U20 tournament for Italy this summer, appearing in four games, scoring five points and recording three rebounds.

"Brian is a crafty frontcourt player with experience representing the Italian National Team. His basketball IQ, skill set, and desire to compete align with the competitive culture we are building."

Jackson Redmond
Redmond competed at East Mississippi Community College, where he was part of a successful program. Jackson's passion for basketball, strong work ethic, and willingness to embrace any role have positively impacted the teams he has been a part of.

"Jackson brings a tremendous attitude, work ethic, and an unselfish approach every day. His effort and willingness to do whatever is needed to help the team makes him an unbelievable teammate."
