The Niagara Purple Eagles conclude their regular season against the Marist Red Foxes on Friday, February 23 at 7 p.m.
 
Scene Setter
•  Niagara sits in third place with an 11-6 MAAC record. The Purple Eagles will be either the third or the fourth seed in next week's MAAC Tournament in Albany, New York.
•  The Purple Eagles are 11-4 in their last 15 games, including a five-game win streak from January 5-18, and a four-game win streak from February 4-16.
•  The Purple Eagles engineered a 20-1 run in the second half to pull away with the decisive 86-70 win at Marist on January 8.
•  Niagara is 16-4 all-time at home in the series, including winning eight of the last 10 meetings at the Gallagher Center.
•  NU is looking to sweep the series for the second time in the last three seasons.

•  The Purple Eagles LEAD the MAAC in points per game (83.5), total blocks (128), blocks per game (4.3), and in fewest turnovers per game (11.4). Niagara LEADS the NCAA in free throws made (544) and free throw attempts (752).
• Matt Scott is seventh on the NU all-time scoring list with 1,719 points and is 10 points behind Tremmel Darden ('04) for sixth. Scott ranks 29th among active scorers in NCAA Division I.
•  Kahlil Dukes led all scorers with a career-high 37 points at Monmouth on February 4. The 37 points are the most by a Purple Eagle since Antoine Mason's 38 points against Marist on March 6, 2014.
•  Marvin Prochet registered his seventh double-double of the season with 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds against Canisius on February 21. Prochet has averaged 15.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in the last four games.
•  Kahlil Dukes LEADS the conference in free throw percentage (.903) and in total 3-pointers made (89), and is second in 3-pointers per game (2.9). Dukes is fifth in the NCAA in career active free throw percentage (.907).
• Marvin Prochet LEADS the conference in rebounds per game (7.7) and in defensive rebounds per game (5.7). Prochet's nine 10-rebound games LEAD the MAAC.
• Kahlil Dukes led Niagara in scoring with 26 points against Canisius on February 21 for his 20th 20-point game of the season, which LEADS the MAAC and ranks fifth in the NCAA.
•  In the last seven games, Greg King has averaged a team-best 8.6 rebounds and had four games in double-digit rebounds, including a career-high 12 at Iona on February 16.
•  Niagara's eight home wins are the most in five seasons.

Marist Red Foxes (6-22, 4-12 MAAC)
•  Marist snapped a five-game losing streak in its comeback win against Saint Peter's on February 17.
•  Three Red Foxes are averaging double figures - Brian Parker (17.2 ppg), David Knudsen (11.3 ppg), and Ryan Funk (11.6 ppg).
•  Brian Parker ranks fifth in the MAAC in scoring with a 17.2 avg, while Ryan Funk is second in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage (40.9 percent).
  
Against the Red Foxes (Niagara leads 27-20)
•  Niagara is 13-7 in its last 20 meetings with Marist. 
•  Nine of the last 11 meetings have been decided by six points or less.
•  There has been season sweeps in the last three seasons. Niagara swept the 2015-16 season, while Marist won both meetings during the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons.
