• The Purple Eagles rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to upend the Iona Gaels, 85-84, for their fourth straight victory on February 16. The win secured a quarterfinal spot in the 2018 MAAC Championships.
• Niagara sits in third place with an 11-4 MAAC record, two games behind Rider and Canisius for first place, with three conference games remaining.
• The Purple Eagles are 11-2 in their last 13 games, including a five-game win streak from January 5-18, and have won four straight entering Sunday's game. Niagara's 11-2 stretch is its best in nine seasons.
• Niagara's 18 wins through 28 games are the most since posting 21 wins through 28 games in the 2008-09 season.
• The Purple Eagles are a MAAC-best 10-5 in all road games this season, including a 6-2 record in MAAC road games. The most MAAC road wins in a season for the Purple Eagles were seven during the 2000-01 season.
• Niagara pulled away in the second half to defeat Manhattan, 72-63, on January 24 to improve to 8-2 in its last 10 meetings with the Jaspers at the Gallagher Center. The Purple Eagles are in search of their first win at Manhattan, and their first sweep of the Jaspers, since the 2012-13 season.

Dukes Sets Consecutive Made Free Throws Record
• On February 8, Kahlil Dukes set the program's consecutive made free throw record by making his 28th straight free throw, breaking the record of 27 previously held by Calvin Murphy during the 1969-70 season. He went 4-for-4 at the free throw line to extend his streak 31.
• Dukes consecutive made free throws streak ended at 38 on February 16 at Iona.
