The Niagara Purple Eagles return to the Gallagher Center to face the St. Francis (PA) Red Flash on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. as a part of the men's basketball alumni weekend festivities.

Scene Setter
• The Niagara Purple Eagles opened December with a 78-70 victory at New Hampshire. Niagara finished the final four minutes of the game on a decisive 13-2 run en route to its second road win of the season.
• Niagara shot 50 percent from the field for the game, including shooting 64 percent in the second half, and had a season-high in 3-point field goal percentage (45.8 %).
• The nation's highest scoring duo, Matt Scott and Kahlil Dukes, combined for 58 points in the win.
• Niagara is looking to start December 2-0 for the first time since 2009 and in search of consecutive wins for the first time January 2017.

Tipoff Tidbits
• For the second consecutive week, Matt Scott was named MAAC Player of the Week announced on December 4. Scott led the Purple Eagles with 27 points per game, 4.0 assists per game and 2.0 steals per game while also averaging 9.0 rebounds per game as Niagara split games against Army and Buffalo.
• Matt Scott, who is
SECOND in the nation in scoring, led all scorers with a career-high 36 points at BYU. The 36 points are the most points by a Purple Eagle since
Antoine Mason's 38 points against Marist on March 6, 2014.
• Matt Scott is 14th on the career scoring list and is 52 points away from tying Marshall Wingate ('72) for 13th.
• Kahlil Dukes is
SECOND in the NCAA in career active free throw percentage (.916) and is
FIRST in the conference in free throw percentage this season (.930).
• Kahlil Dukes is
FIFTH in the NCAA in 3-pointers per game. He drained a career-high eight 3-pointers at New Hampshire.
• Dominic Robb is seventh on the career blocks list (112), and is one behind Benson Egemonye for sixth place.

It Takes Two
• Matt Scott (25.8) and Kahlil Dukes (22.1) are the top scoring pair in the nation. Scott and Dukes are first and second, respectively, in scoring in the MAAC through nine games. The duo is accounting for 57 percent of Niagara's scoring.
• The duo is the only pair in the NCAA to have seven 20-plus points games this season, which lead the MAAC and is tied for fourth in the nation. The tandem has scored 20-plus points in the same game five times this season.
• In the MAAC, the pair ranks in the top two in field goals made and in field goals attempted.

• St. Francis was tabbed first in the NEC Coaches Poll with nine first place votes.
• The Red Flash lost their last two games - a two-point loss to Stony Brook and at No. 1 Duke.                                  Â
• Four Red Flash are averaging in double figures - Keith Braxton (16.0 ppg), Isaiah Blackmon (14.3 ppg), Jamaal King (13.3 ppg), and Andre Wolford (10.9 ppg).        Â
• Andrew Wofford is sixth in the NCAA in 3-point field goal perecntage (.550).

Dynamic Duo Power NU At UNH
• The nation's highest scoring duo, Matt Scott and Kahlil Dukes, combined for 58 points, including 39 of Niagara's 47 second half points, to power the Purple Eagles to a 78-70 win at New Hampshire on December 5.
• The duo provide all 13 points in the decisive 13-2 run in the final four minutes of the game.
• Dukes notched his first career 30-point with a game-high 31-point effort. Dukes, who scored 22 points in the second half, went 8 for 11 from beyond the 3-point line.
• Dukes' eight 3-pointers are tied for the second most in program history and the most since
Marvin Jordan's eight 3-pointers against Rider on Feb. 5, 2012. Dukes' eight 3-pointers are the most in the MAAC and tied for sixth most in the NCAA this season.
• Scott poured in 27 points for his seventh straight 20-point game and grabbed eight rebounds.

• Niagara is the highest scoring team in the MAAC at 83.3 points per game. The program record for points per game in a season is 87.6 ppg (1967-68).
• Niagara is on pace to setting the program record for most points in a season, set by the 2008-09 team (2,665).
• NU leads the MAAC in free throws made and 3-point field goal percentage, and is second in 3-pointers made.
