The Niagara Purple Eagles head back on the road this week beginning on Friday, February 12 against the Saint Peter's Peacocks at 7 p.m.
 
Scene Setter
•  NU is 7-2 in the last nine meetings with Saint Peter's, including defeating the Peacocks 63-61 on January 7 at the Gallagher Center.
•  Justin Satchell finished with a career-high 22 points on 10 of 12 shooting from the field. His 83.3 field goal percentage is the highest in the MAAC this season. Cameron Fowler led the team with a career-best eight assists while committing zero turnovers.
•  The Purple Eagles are 6-4 in their last 10 visits to the Yanitelli Center, including last season's  61-59 win on November 20 in the earliest conference game played in the nation.

•  Matt Scott is one of two players in the MAAC (Siena's Brett Bisping) to have at least nine 20-point games and six 10-rebound games.
•  Matt Scott is seventh in the MAAC in scoring with 16.5 per game, fourth in rebounds with 7.2 per game, and second in steals with 1.5 per game. Scott is the only player in the MAAC to rank in the top 10 in points, rebounds and steals per game.
•  Chris Casey was an assistant coach at Saint Peter's from 1990-98 where he helped the Peacocks to the 1991 and 1995 MAAC Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. Casey is 3-2 against Saint Peter's as head coach at Niagara.

Saint Peter's Peacocks (9-13, 7-6 MAAC)
•  Saint Peter's was 3-0 in MAAC play before falling to the Purple Eagles on January 7. The Peacocks have gone 4-5 since including a five-game losing streak.
•  Saint Peter's is second in the conference in scoring defense (67.8) and defensive rebounds per game (34.4).
•  Three Peacocks are averaging double figures scoring: Antwon Portley (14.3), Trevis Wyche (12.2) and Quadir Welton (11.8).
•  Trevis Wyche leads the MAAC in assist/turnover ratio (2.46) and assists per game (4.8), while Quadir Welton is second in the conference in rebounds per game (8.0) and sixth in blocks per game (1.09).
