Scene Setterā¢Ā The Purple Eagles, who have won two of the last three meetings, are in search of first-ever sweep of the Bobcats and first win at Quinnipiac in four attempts.Ā
ā¢Ā Niagara defeated Quinnipiac, 76-72, in its MAAC opener back on December 4 behind season-highs in field goal percentage, free throw percentage and 3-point field goal percentage.
ā¢Ā NU is looking to sweep a two-game MAAC road swing for the first time since February 2015 (Fairfield, Rider).

Tipoff Tidbitsā¢Ā Niagara erased a 15-point second half deficit to defeat the Marist Red Foxes, 69-66, on Thursday to halt a four-game losing streak.
ā¢Ā Trailing 58-43 with less than 12 minutes left, the Purple Eagles outscored the Red Foxes 23-4 over an 11-minute span to take a 66-62 lead. A 3-pointer by
Karonn Davis with three seconds remaining won the game.
ā¢Ā The win at Marist was Niagara's first true road win of the season and second win after trailing at halftime.
ā¢Ā Niagara is third in the MAAC in overall scoring defense (70.2) and is on pace for its lowest points per game allowed total since the 2009-10 season (69.4).
ā¢Ā The Purple Eagles are second in scoring defense (67.5) in conference games.

Matt Scott led all scorers with a then-career-best 31 points against Siena on January 26.
ā¢Ā Scott became the 10th player in the MAAC with a 30-point performance.
ā¢Ā Scott also set a career-high in free throws, going a perfect 13-for-13, which are the most by a Purple Eagle this season.
ā¢Ā It is the highest free throw percentage in the MAAC this season and the highest by a Purple Eagle since Charron Fisher went 14-for-14 at Saint Peter's on January 25, 2008.

Matt Scott registered back-to-back 30-point games for the first time in his career when he scored 31 points against Siena on January 26 and setting a new career-high with 32 points at Marist on January 28.
