Live Stats The Niagara Purple Eagles will continue MAAC play at the Siena Saints on Saturday, Jan. 2 at 7 p.m. for their first game of 2016.
Tipoff Tidbits• The Purple Eagles fell at longtime rival St. Bonaventure, 82-68, in their last game.
Emile Blackman led NU in scoring with 19 points, to score in double figures for the 11th straight game, and Cam Fowler scored a season-high 14 points to be the only Purple Eagles in double figures.
• The series with the Saints has been one of streaks recently. The Purple Eagles won four straight from 2011-13, but have lost the last five meetings including falling to Siena at the Times Union Center in the 2015 MAAC Tournament First Round.
• Niagara has only one win in its last 11 trips to the Times Union Center and 16-33 all-time at Siena.
• NU split its MAAC opening weekend in December at the Gallagher Center. The Purple Eagles improved to 14-13 all-time in MAAC openers when they defeated Quinnipiac, 76-72, on December 4 before falling to Monmouth, 56-42, on December 6.
• The Purple Eagles are 11-15 all-time in MAAC road openers, including winning last season's MAAC road opener at Saint Peter's.
• NU will be playing its seventh road game of the season and is in search of its first road win since defeating Canisius on February 24, 2015 in its final road game of the regular season.

Matt Scott leads the Purple Eagles in scoring (15.6 per game), rebounds (87-6.7 per game), assists (37-2.8 per game), steals (21-1.6 per game) and free throws made (56-4.3 per game).

Matt Scott was named to the Hoops HD All-MAAC Team for the 2015 non-conference season.
• Scott is joined on the team with Monmouth's Justin Robinson, Saint Peter's Quadir Welton, and Siena's Marquis Wright and Brett Bisping.

Dominic Robb has averaged 10 points per game, while shooting over 61 percent, and averaged 5.0 rebounds per game in the last five games.
• Robb recorded a career-high in rebounds with seven in consecutive games (Monmouth & St. John's) and played in a career-high 26 minutes at St. Bonaventure in his first career start.
• After scoring a career-high 12 points against LIU Brooklyn, Robb set a new career-best in scoring in the following game at Albany with 19 points on 9 of 11 shooting from the field.
• His nine field goals are tied for team-high this season and his .818 field goal percentage is the single-game team-high.
• Robb has notched career-highs in blocks with three in consecutive games (LIU Brooklyn and Albany).

On The CourtSiena Saints (8-5, 1-1 MAAC)• Siena had its three-game winning streak snapped in its previous game at Vermont (73-64).
• The Saints have four players averaging in double figures: Marquis Wright (17.3), Brett Bisping (13.0), Javion Ogunyuemi (12.7), Lavon Long (12.2).
• Siena leads the MAAC in field goal percentage and rebounding defense, and second in blocks, rebounding margin and defensive 3-point percentage.
• The Saints are 5-0 at home for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
Against the Saints (Siena leads 48-46)• After winning six of eight including four straight games, Niagara has lost the last five meetings to the Saints.
• The five-game losing streak is the longest since losing eight consecutive from February 1988 to February 1991.
