The Purple Eagles are coming off of a last second defeat to Marist on Friday for the second straight encounter between the programs.

Ramone Snowden leads the team in rebounds per game (6.3), blocks (10), steals (28), 3-pointers made (39), free throws made (68) and minutes per game (33.2).Â
• Snowden has scored in double figures in the last 10 games (14.4 points per game).

Emile Blackman is averaging a team-best 17.6 points while shooting a team-high 50 percent. Blackman is now leading NU in scoring in with 12.5 per contest.

Karonn Davis set a new career-best in assists with a game-high nine versus Quinnipiac on Feb. 1 to set career-highs in assists in consecutive games. The nine assists are the most by a Purple Eagle since Juan'ya Green had nine against Saint Peter's on March 2, 2013.
• Davis has had at least five assists in four of the last six games and has 27 assists to five turnovers in the last six games.

Dominique Reid was named MAAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 2 after averaging 15.5 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game in versus Marist and Quinnipiac.
• Reid collected his second career double-double with a career-high 20 points and game-high 10 rebounds versus Quinnipiac on Feb. 1. He joins teammate
Ramone Snowden as the only the Purple Eagle with multiple double-doubles this season.

Dominique Reid recorded his team-leading third double-double of the season with 18 points and a game-high 15 rebounds against Marist on Feb. 6 to become the first Purple Eagle with consecutive double-doubles since Bilal Benn in 2010. Reid is one of nine players in the conference with at least three double-doubles.
• NU shot 67 percent from the field in the first half against Manhattan on Jan. 10 for its highest percentage in a half since shooting 67 percent in the second half against Northwestern State on Feb. 2, 2013.
• Niagara's 105 points against Quinnipiac are tied for 27th most by a team in a MAAC game.
• Niagara's 22 assists against Quinnipiac on Feb. 1 are the most since having 23 versus Marist on February 6, 2011.
• According to KenPom.com, Niagara is the FIFTH youngest team in the nation. NU has 12 underclassmen on the roster.               Â
On The CourtQuinnipiac Bobcats (12-10, 6-7 MAAC)• After being swept in its Western New York road trip last week, Quinnipiac got back in the winning column with a 72-52 win over Monmouth on Thursday.
• Zaid Hearst leads the Bobcats in scoring with 19.8 per game, while Ousmane Drame is averaging a double-double with 14.5 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game.     Â
• Drame leads the nation in double-doubles with 16, is 12th in rebounds per game and 17th in blocked shots per game (2.82).
• Quinnipiac leads the nation in rebounds per game (45.0) and rebounding margin (12.7).

Against the Bobcats (Quinnipiac leads, 5-1)• The Purple Eagles collected their first win in the series with a 105-100 double overtime win on Feb 1 at the Gallagher Center.
• Last season, NU fell in the first-ever meeting as MAAC opponents on Jan. 18 before falling at the buzzer in the home regular season finale on Feb. 22.
• The Purple Eagles fell to the Bobcats in the 2014 MAAC Tournament Quarterfinals to end their season.

Reid Garners MAAC Rookie Of The Week• Forward
Dominique Reid was tabbed as MAAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week announced by the league on Feb. 2
• Reid averaged 15.5 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game as the Purple Eagles split their home MAAC weekend.
• Reid led Niagara in scoring with a career-high 20 points and led NU with 10 rebounds en route to his second career double-double in the double overtime win over Quinnipiac.
• Reid played in 42 minutes and made a career-best 10 of 12 free throws. Reid scored seven of his 20 points in the two overtime periods, including making two free throws to tie the game at 92-92 with 28 seconds left to send the game into the second overtime.
