Chris Casey era. NU had then-season-highs in 3-pointers (11), 3-point field goal percentage (50 percent) and in free throw percentage (75 percent) while holding Albany to 47 points, which are the fewest points the program has allowed since UCF scored 46 in a Niagara win on Nov. 21, 2009.

Matt Scott leads the Purple Eagles in scoring (16.8 per game), rebounds (82-7.5 per game), assists (34-3.1 per game), steals (21-1.9 per game) and free throws made (47-4.3 per game).
• Freshman forward
Dominic Robb has recorded a career-high in rebounds with seven in consecutive games (Monmouth & St. John's), played in a career-high 24 minutes against the Red Storm and Blackbirds, and scored a career-high 12 points versus LIU Brooklyn in Niagara's last three games.

Matt Scott earned his second career double-double with 14 points and a game-high 16 rebounds against St. John's on December 9.
• His career-best 16 rebounds are the most by a Purple Eagle since Bilal Benn's 18 rebounds against Mount St. Mary's on Nov. 25, 2009.
• The 16 rebounds are tied for the second most in the MAAC this season.
• Scott's double-double against St. John's was the first double-double by a Purple Eagle against a power conference opponent since Bilal Benn had 16 points and 13 rebounds at Auburn on Nov. 13, 2009.
• Scott's two double-doubles on the season (Brown, St. John's) are tied for second in the MAAC with Canisius' Jamal Reynolds, Manhattan's Rich Williams and Saint Peter's Quadir Welton.

Emile Blackman each scored a game-high 22 points against LIU Brooklyn on December 12 to score at least 20 points in a game for the second time this season (Quinnipiac).
• The duo is the first to have multiple 20-point games in a season since the tandem of Antoine Mason and Juan'ya Green accomplished the feat four times during the 2012-13 season.

Clocking In Extra Time • Niagara played only its seventh overtime game in the last five seasons when the Purple Eagles fell to LIU Brooklyn. The Purple Eagles are 4-3 in overtime games since 2011.

On The CourtAlbany Great Danes (8-4, 0-0 America East)• Albany has won six of the its last seven games entering Wednesday's game.
• Three Great Danes are averaging in double figures led by Evan Singletary (14.3), who is third in the conference in scoring, Peter Hooley (11.6) and Ray Sanders (11.3)
• Albany leads the America East in scoring defense (65.0 ppg), total rebounds (461), steals (85) and turnover margin (+2.1), while Ray Sanders leads the conference in steals (20).
